Vision without action is just a dream.
Action without vision merely wastes time.
Vision coupled with action can make things happen!
Several years ago I had too many incompatible and unrealistic goals that I wanted to achieve in my life and it took me time to arrange and make them clear in my mind. Now I have very clear ideas and vision what I want to do with my life and I am going to convert my vision into reality.
My first goal is to succed as a manager in Human Resources. Currently I work in Cardiology office and communicate with people every singe day. I would like to work in this field for a while to gain my experience because I want to be a manager in Health Care Business. I try to learn new things every day because I know it will help me to accomplish my goal in the future.
My second goal is to live closer to my family because I love my parents very much. Currently my parents live in a different country and I want to do everything possible and impossible to bring them here, to the USA. Since I am an only child in my family my parents tried to do everything for me and now it is my turn to make them happy.
My third goal is to buy a small house where I can live with my family: my parents, my future husband and our kids. I want my family relationship be based on trust, love and empathy.

I admire your passion for your family. I remember coming to US in 1998 and not being with my family. They say when you are far away from someone or something, your true feelings and intentions come alive. This goal of uniting and housing your family is an example of true feelings that you have. That desire to help the close ones pushes us to do greater things-your family is also a source of responsibility, and desire. Desire to be trusted, not to disappoint and overall responsibility that comes with caring for others is not an easy task. All the luck to you!
ReplyDeleteI think family is extremely important and share your desire to include our families in our visions. It is great that you are working in a field that you love and see yourself doing it for many years to come. It seems like you are on your way to fulfilling your first vision and I wish you the best of luck in pursuing your future!
ReplyDeleteHey Larisa! Thank you for you comment. And I do too edmire your goals. It is so important to have close family, someone you can rely on at all times. Family will never let you down. I am an only child as well. It's only me and my mom, so I understand your passion to bring your parent here, and be as close to them as possible. Buying a house is so adorable too. I guess, our desire to buy a house, instead of an apartment comes from our mentality. House is often associated eith Home, Comfort and Serenity. Good luck to you in your career. May all you wish come true!
ReplyDeleteIts wonderful that you are pushing to be closer to your family; I feel like a lot of us have our families with us and sometimes feel annoyed by them and want to get away. What we dont experience is life without them and how hard it is. I can imagine how difficult it is to be without them. I hope you can make your dreams come true, be succesful and have your family next to you.
ReplyDeletewow i really admire that your so passionate about your family and well driven to having them come to the US and live there lives with you. Dont give up anything is possible keep that in mind!
ReplyDeleteI admire your ambition. To be a manager in Human Resources it appears that you have already taken the necessary steps and just need to keep doing what you are doing. The more experience you have, the more marketable you will become and I am sure you will be able to get that great position. I know is tough to be far from your family, but your hard work will certainly pay off in the end and I am sure they will be able to come here. All the great steps you are taking will make that happen and I am sure you will have a home to share with all of your family members in the future. Good luck and never give up!
ReplyDeleteHi Larisa..we have one thing in common we both work in a cardiology office. And I feel the same way as you about my parents as they are not here. I wish you all the best on your career in human resources. I am also majoring in managment human resources. A lot of things in common as you could see :)
ReplyDeleteHi Larisa. I was reading your post and it really struck me when you wrote about your family and how much you want them to come here in the US. I can somehow relate since I'm the only one in my family living in the US. I miss them dearly and I wish that they were here with me too. I hope that someday (hopefully soon) you'll be reunited and I wish that you'll buy that house that you dream of and settle down with your loved ones. All the best to you!
